Taped Raw Results Therefore, I will not be able to provide the results before they happen EVERY week because some weeks Raw is Live and nobody knows what will happen. Only every other week will the results be posted before Raw airs.** RAW IS WAR TAPING AIRDATE: February 13, 1999 Raw is War Opening, Austin/Foley/Corporation Interview, Mark Henry Footage The show opened to a vignette, hilighting the Royal Rumble victory by Vince McMahon "Stone Cold" Steve Austin opened the show to a loud ovation, and 43,000 screaming loudly. He basically stated that he will defeat Mankind tonight, and has a lot of respect for him. Following that, He guaranteed he will win the cage match this Sunday, and that blood will be shed. He was interrupted by Mankind, who said he will win, and he wanted to please Canada. A debate of sorts went on, when the "No Chance In Hell" theme started. The entire corporation came out, and The Rock went on a long cliche of slogans, basically stating that he will be the last man standing, and he will go to Philidelphia for WrestleMania XV. Vince McMahon then took the microphone, and guaranteed no corporation members will be at ringside this Sunday, and if any does, he will fire them on the spot. He said the WWF will never be the same after tonight, and that he will be the special referee for the non-title main event. Mark Henry was shown watching Debra on T.V. in the back D-Lo Brown vs. Jeff Jarrett, Val and Ryan Shamrock D-Lo Brown defeated Jeff Jarrett with the Sky-High - Before the contest, D-Lo without his chest protector, told Mark Henry that he had a solution for him dissappointed about Debra. He brought out a young woman named "Ivory", who Mark Henry was delighted to see, and looked familiar to Michael Cole. Owen and Jarrett were cheered very loud, and the end came when Debra distracted the ref, and Ivory distracted Jarrett, letting D-Lo hit the sky high for the victory. Earlier today, Val Venis and Ryan Shamrock were shown "doing it" in an open window in the SkyDome Hotel. Val Venis & Ryan Shamrock Interview Highlights were shown of the Val Venis/Ken Shamrock feud Val Venis with Ryan Shamrock came out for an interview, and Val basically stated they were very happy, when suddenly Ken Shamrock hit the ring, and was pounding on Val. Ryan was screaming, and Ken absolutely snapped, setting up the huge IC title bout this Sunday at Valentines Day Massacre. Goldust vs. Gillberg, Earl Hebner Statement Gillberg defeated Goldust with a rollup - Goldust came out, and was delivered blue roses and candies, promoting his war with BlueDust this Sunday. Gillberg came out to an interesting pop, so to speak, as some fellow canadians were screaming, while some were not. A short bout, with Goldust dominating, and hitting the curtain call, but suddenly BlueDust appeared on the TitanTron, completely naked except for a rose, he said he won't forget BlueDust, allowing Gillberg to role Runnels up. After the match, Goldust attacked Gillberg, and the lights suddenly went out, and when they appeared back on, Goldust was covered in blue paint. Earl Hebner made a statement that due to Shamrock snapping and hurting refs, no official will officiate the match this Sunday, and unless a volunteer steps up to be the special referee, Shamrock will be stripped of the title. DX Interview D-Generation X came out for an interview, and it was a classic. HHH started off saying Chyna wants to play ball with th guys, but she has no bat. Following that, he said she can't even get a walk, cause she isn't playing with balls. X-Pac then grabbed the microphone, lipped off Kane and Chyna for the upcoming war this Sunday, and said Shane McMahon, to steal a line from a buddy, "Don't sing it, bring it". Following that, Road Dogg in humorous fashion stated he will beat Al Snow this Sunday. Bad Ass grabbed the mic, and said he wants a match this Sunday too, revealing a striped shirt underneath. Road Dogg, suggesting Bad Ass got a job at Foot Locker, was wrong. Bad Ass stated he will be the special ref in the Shamrock/Venis match this Sunday, as a classic DX Interview closed. Mankind vs. Steve Austin Mankind and Steve Austin both came out to big ovations, as Vince said this match will be at this time, so they can have an hour to beat each other up. McMahon said this match was anything goes, but Austin took the microphone from Vince.
Austin stated that Mankind and Austin won't let this plan unfold, and that they aren't going to get their ass kicked, Vince is. But, Mankind wasn't going to do it, as Austin said, with Vince staring at Austin. He wasn't going to do it, said Austin, as Mankind got Socko ready, "He Is" pointing to Socko, as Mankind stuck it in Vince's throat. The corporation ran down only to be held back by Austin and Foley. Vince McMahon Interview, Godfather vs. Viscera, Val/Shamrock A frustrated Vince McMahon appeared on the ramp after the commercial with the corporation. He stated that tonight, he will run the gauntlet against every corporate member, excluding The Rock, until he is a beaten man. This includes Test, Boss Man, Shamrock, Kane, and perhaps Chyna. The Godfather defeated Viscera via DQ - A very slow match, in which Mideon was doing color commentary. The end came when Mideon came in, and the Ministry pounded The Godfather. Backstage, a fight broke out between Val Venis and Ken Shamrock, which Billy Gunn broke up. X-Pac vs. Kane X-Pac defeated Kane by disqualification -This was an excellent back and forth bout, including an excellent spinwheel on Kane sending him from the apron to the guard rail. X-Pac, dare I say had Kane finished off, when Chyna interfered. She was about to pedigree X-Pac when HHH interfered and took out Kane. Chyna was going to take out both DX members, when she ran at them, they ducked, and for her safety, Kane pulled her legs along with Shane as the corporation made an escape. Al Snow vs. Al Snow, Al Snow vs. Bob Holly, One More SVDM Match Al Snow challenged anyone in the back to a hardcore match, and no one came out, causing Snow to snap, and say he will wrestle himself. He moonsaulted himself through a table, fire extinguished himself, hit himself with cookie sheets, and apparently bladed. Bob Holly came out to calm Snow down, but Snow snapped again, and he and Holly brawled all over the arena. It was announced Mideon would take on The Big Boss Man this Sunday at St. Valentines Day Massacre Droz Interview, The Rock vs. Steve Blackman Droz had an interview backstage with Kevin Kelly, where Kelly called him a punk, making Droz respond viciously, as he pounded on Kelly, but Steve Blackman made the save.
The Rock defeated Steve Blackman with the corporate elbow - This was a match The Rock dominated for the most part, and he did a nice chunk of color commentary during it. After a bit of offense by Blackman, who had strained his hip apparently, Rocky caught Steve in the Rock Bottom, and then sinched the lethal-weapon off with the corporate elbow. Backstage, a split screen was shown of "Stone Cold" getting ready for the gauntlet, and the McMahon's, preparing the troops, so to speak. The Corporate Gauntlet Mr. McMahon wins the corporate gauntlet by pinning "Stone Cold" Steve Austin - This was a very well done contest, with Austin hitting a stunner on Shamrock, Test, Chyna, and Kane, eliminating them all, but was extremely worn out and tired. The Big Boss Man came in after Austin stunned Chyna, and for a few minutes disected Austin with shots to the neck with the nightstick, causing Austin to be unconcious. McMahon stepped in, and pinned Austin, to the distain of the Toronto crowd who was chanting, "You Screwed Bret". McMahon chugged a few beers in front of the helpless Austin, who was tied up, mocking him for this Sunday's cage match.
